Determiners

Determiners are words which come at the beginning of noun phrases.There are specific determiners and general determiners.

Specific determiners

The specific determiners are:

A specific determiner is used when the reader knows exactly what we are referring to.

General determiners

A general determiner is used when talking about things in general and the reader does not know exactly what we are reffering to.

The general determiners are:

no determiner is used with plural nouns and uncount nouns.

Any

The general determiner any is used with a singular noun or an uncount noun when talking about all of those people or things.

Another

The general determiner another is used when talking about an additional person or thing.

Other

The plural form is another is other.
